Her husband is a civil servant and they are blessed with two finely groomed sons. The eldest son Munqualib Faruqui Manjir is practicing law after achieving Barrister-At-Law with distinction from the Honorable Society of Lincoln's Inn. The younger one Ishraque Faruqui Mashrur is pursuing his Bachelor's degree from York University, Toronto, Canada.
